A Prayer for a Christian Wife 

Dear Lord, 

Thank you for my husband. I pray that he continues to praise you and call upon your name in the good times and bad. Thank you for giving him the strength when I need him. As a wife, I pray that you will make me gentle and kind. Make me humble. Allow me to listen instead of being quick to speak. Lord, allow me to see my husband through your eyes; to see his courage and his unspoken needs. Lead me to be the wife that my husband needs. I pray that I never take my husband for granted, and that I can be the one to lead him back to you; if he shall fall. I pray to be grateful for the small things. Father, I know that I am imperfect. Please remove my my sins, remove any selfishness and impatience from my soul. Lord, I know that you are always faithful and so good. Your love is so sweet and precious. Lord, I want to thankyou for the obstacles you have helped me overcome, for the trials you have given me in order to strengthen my character. I know that your plans are much greater than mine. Lord, you lead and I will follow. I am so grateful for my marriage and where you have led me so far.
